I tried downloading a new version of Bitbucket Extension to VS, but that also won't take my login. I've tried setting up an App Password and using it to login, but that password isn't accepted. I've been Googling all morning, but can't get it to work. I remember seeing something about BitBucket not accepting passwords anymore. All I do is push/pull/fetch from inside Visual Studio. For the app password I was unsuccessfully trying to use, I had it set to R/W repos, and nothing more. I use Visual Studio 2017 to connect to BitBucket. The Bitbucket capability is built into VS 2019, and you don't need the extension anymore.
